II International Classical Music Festival clasclas
From 27th June to 6th July 2019
The International Classical Music Festival, clasclas, presents the second edition after the warm reception of the first one by the public and the specialized critics and keeping its design that made the festival an unique event in our country.
One of the highlights of 2019 edition will be the collaboration with the Orquesta Sinfonica de Galicia, which will perform in the festival opening concert under Guy Braunstein, Artistic Director of clasclas.
Our Young Artist Program -YAP- will be reinforced by increasing the mentor roster, made up of well-known international soloist and pedagogues, and the lenght of the festival, which now reaches ten days.
clasclas will continue with its important social aspect and will try, even more, to bring classical music to all society, planning special activities for children and reinforcing the educational commitment with our young students of Conservatorio Profesional de Musica de Vilagarcia.
On the other hand, the festival will once again be a dynamic event for Galician cultural activity, not only because of the concert cycle it hosts, also because of the International Summit, a parallel activity designed to help the development of music cultural industry, all linked to new collaborations emerged as the one with Universidad de Deusto through the European Project Connect
Concerts will be held in such a magical spaces as Pazos de la Golpelleira and Pazo de Rubianes, the Church of the Convento de Vista Alegre, the Salón García, Auditorio Municipal…
Vilagarcía will vibrate, enjoy and be thrilled again with the clasclas between 27th June and 6th July 2019. We are looking forward to welcome all of you in our city!
