The YAP -Young Artists Program- is specially designed by the clasclas Festival to develop the musical training of young international musicians who are beginning their professional careers.
The selected musicians will form new chamber music ensembles with other participants and/or with the mentors of the festival, and under the tutelage of them they will work on the repertoire which they will perform during the festival concerts.
The educational program will be completed with masterclasses, workshops and the clasclas Summit, coaching sessions, conferences and round tables dedicated to various aspects of vital importance in the development of a professional musical career at an international level. Participants will have the opportunity to receive advice and professional training from orchestra managers, programmind director and specialist of various musical entities.
Musicians born after January 1985
Instrumentalist and singers:
violin, viola, cello, double bass
flute, oboe, clarinet, basson, horn
singers: soprano, mezzo, tenor, baritone, bass
Pre formed ensembles: duo, trio, quartets, quintets ... the average age of ensemble musicians does not exceed 33 years.

Two video recordings (youtube, vimeo) with repertoire of different periods and styles that represent the current level as a musician or group.
Accommodation and Travels
Participants will have to cover their accomodation and meals expenses during the festival in Vilagarcia, as well as their trips.
The festival will offer special deals with accommodation and food menus to facilitate and reduce cost of the participants stay in Vilagarcía.
The festival will provide a free pick-up transport for all participants (Schedule established by the organization) from the Santiago de Compostela Airport (SCQ) and the train and bus stations of Santiago de Compostela.
All the young musicians and selected ensembles will have full tuition scholarship that covers their participation in the festival.
clasclas will offer, in cooperation with several companies and institutions, a series of special scholarships for some of the most outstanding young artists participating in the YAP, to cover their accommodation, travel and other expenses. These fellows will hold masterclasses for local music students within the social program of the clasclas Festival.
During the festival, Artistical Direction in coordination with the mentors, will select several young artists to invite them to play in the future concert seasons of the Philharmonic Society of Vilagarcía and other relevant national and international concert series. The registration period ends on 14th February, 2020
During the first week of March 2020, the result of the auditions will be communicated by mail with list of selected musicians and assigned repertoire, scholarship recipients and useful information regarding the festival.
Participants must plan their arrival in Vilagarcía on Tuesday 30th June and their departure on Saturday 11th July.
